1. Do you represent artists?

   No we don't. We are not agents. If you need representation then you should search for a proper agent from the ukscreen agents’ directory.

   Warning: We don't recommend any of the registered agents on UKscreen directory on anywhere else. You must make your own enquiries about any agent that you wish to deal with

2. But what about my privacy

   We provide you with a unique username and password so only you can update your homepage. The site is now fully spam protected, and we will not divulge your e-mail address to anyone. In addition, if you experience any problems you can delete your details whenever you wish.

3. Can I register without giving my contact details

   At the very least you must supply your name and e-mail address. We do not act as a middle person, so people will need to contact you directly. Note that pages with false contact details will be deleted automatically by our system.

4. Who can register in the Directory

   Anyone who is or would like to be involved in Film, TV, Stage or Music. Many different people, ranging from large production companies to small independent film makers, search our database so there is always a demand for all types of people whether you are a professional with lots of experience or just want to be a film extra. If you wish to specify which type of projects you want to be involved in, then this can be done on your personal page.

5. What if I need to update my CV, showreel, or photo

   It is very straightforward to edit your details. When you register with us you will chose a unique username and password. When you want to edit your page, you simply visit the page and click "Edit Page" in the sidebar. You will then be asked for your username and password. Upon supplying these details you will be presented with a range of editing options.

6. I am not very familiar with the Internet - how do I upload my showreel and/or photo

   There are detailed instructions in these support pages (you can select the relevant section at the top of this page). If you still encounter some difficulty then post a message on ukscreen forum, where other members can advice you.

7. Is it really FREE

   It cost £15 to join UK screen, which is used to verify your identity. However, this fee will be added to your account if you choose to upgrade your membership.
   If you don't want to be verified then you can register as a guest. The guests, however, will not be listed in ukscreen directory and will not get any of ukscreen services.

8. I hate the adverts on the site, can you remove them?

   No one likes adverts; they are annoying, slow down the site and even break it. But, Unfortunately, without these adverts the site will cease to exist. However, you can opt to remove them by upgrading your membership. Click here for details.
